INFO ABOUT OUR FIRST LAUNCH!
Ok folks, so here it is. Our first official launch as a giving back community. The point of Common Treasure Co. is to unite our love of cool stuff with the art of giving. The kind of giving that generates future givers. We are driven by the needs of our community, our admiration of local artists, and the belief that everyone has rights to the joys of giving.
Giving can be done in so many ways, and while there is a place for fancy galas and high ticket price events, we are not that. We believe that everyone should get to partake in the fun that is making our community a better place.
We plan to use Common Treasure Co. as a home base to share community needs with others. This brings me to our first initiative:
The Valparaiso Community Schools are a part of a wonderful service called the Backpack Program. This program provides students with food from Friday evening to Sunday morning in order to supplement times when school meals are not available. We would love to be able to get all of the Valparaiso elementary school pantries supplied in time for Thanksgiving break.
We are stoked to be launching our first good for a cause today! The multi-talented local tattoo artist Lex Croker designed a killer logo for us and we want to see it on you! These tees are ultra soft, made in the USA, and will be hand printed with water based inks.
All profits from the sale of this tee will be used to purchase food for the pantries. We will be transparent about our profits and share with you as we complete our first initiative.
These shirts are pre-sale, which ends October 24th. We plan to be shipping these out by Halloween.
